#16 Story: The Facebook comment Part 2

“The wind is so nice! Woo hoo!” Van was literally jumping as she walked along the beach of Karambunai Resort with Diana. Diana was quite drawn to the sea water so she decided to take off her sandals and walked at the water side.

Then, the two girls stopped. Van took a stick and started to write on the sand, while Diana still enjoying the sea water.

“Thank you,” a deep voice said. Van stopped scribbling on the sand and looked up. In a split second, her heart just temporarily stopped. Her eyes got bigger as she saw the person standing in front of her. And her… whatever is written on the sand. “Ahhh!” she squealed and quickly brushes off her scribbles on the sand. She couldn't lift her head. Her face, no, her whole head was reddening and felt like a dynamo ready to explode.

Upon hearing that, Diana turned and she quickly ran towards Van.

“Van!” she called. Slowly, with her head still looking down, Van turned back to Diana. “You okay?” Diana asked. As if her lips were sealed, Van just nodded her head. Diana looked up to the person standing in front of Van.

The lean, tall guy with straight blond mixed with black hair smiled and waved his hand. “Hi,” he greeted.

“H-hi,” Diana stammered. She then forced herself to smile awkwardly. The guy was still smiling, sweetly.

“I am very sorry to disturb you girls. Maybe I should go,” he said as he checked slightly on Van.

“No, no… you’re not. You just surprised my friend here,” said Diana, still holding Van by her shoulder. Van was still unable to lift her head properly.

“My name is Toru. Yamashita Toru.”

“I’m Diana. And this is my friend,” Diana purposely didn’t introduce Van properly so that she would do that by herself.

Van saw Toru’s hand reaching out for a handshake. Slowly, she lifted up her head, shook his hand and smile. “Van. Vanessa, just called me Van,” she said finally, still staggering. Diana giggled as she watched her friend.

“I am sorry to surprise you, Van.”

“No, it’s okay. My fault too for not realizing your presence.” Van and Diana stood up. They both looked so small compared to the tall Toru.

Suddenly…

“Hey!!!” Toru turned and his friends were ‘attacking’ him. Diana and Van stepped back, just smiling. They know those guys.

“Hi there,” Ryota greeted the girls. “I’m…”

Before Ryota could say his name, both Van and Diana simultaneously said, “Ryota.”

“Eh, you know my name!” Ryota exclaimed. “Of course, we’re ONE OK ROCK fans!” responded Van. Both Diana and Toru raised their eyes and turned to Van. It seems like she had gotten out from her shock.

Diana tapped Van’s shoulder. “Greatttt… you’re back!” laughed Diana.

“I’ve told you they are fans of ONE OK ROCK,” Tsutomu murmured, resting his arms on Ryota and Tomoya’s shoulders.

“Tsutomu-san!” both girls exclaimed. Everyone in the group laughed. “You girls know Tsutomu-san?” asked Taka.

“He’s our Facebook friend,” Diana replied. “The one providing us with lots of ONE OK ROCK pictures,” added Van.

“He sure is!” said Tomoya.

“By the way, I am Van and this is my good friend, Diana.” Van introduced herself and Diana to the rest of the guys. She had gotten herself back. With the craziness and fangirling, of course.

“Anyway!” Everyone turned to Diana. “Can somebody accompany Van to buy coconut drink for all of us here? My treat,” Diana asked, smiling sheepishly.

Van quickly turned to the other girl and mouthed, ‘What are you doing?’

“I’ll go with her,” Toru said. Van turned to him and blushed. “Great! Here is the money,” Diana said, giving some money to Van and then gently pushing her towards Toru.

“Err…” Van turned speechless again.

“Let’s go, Van,” said Toru, smiling. He already turned and start walking. Van quickly took a small yet fast pace to catch up with him. Then they walked together to the pool bar.

Tsutomu, Tomoya, Taka and Ryota turned to Diana. “We saw what happened just now. But what exactly did Van write on the sand?” asked Taka. Diana smiled at him. When he smiled back with his adorable cute lips, Diana quickly looked at the sand where Van scribbled something earlier. Ryota and Tomoya were trying their best to figure out what was written.

“I…” “E…” “U…”

Taka slapped Tomoya’s head for saying something unclearly. “Baka yarou omae,” Taka said which mean ‘you’re stupid’ in Japanese. Tomoya just grinned cutely, just like a little kid. He is quite used to be ‘bullied’ for fun by his bandmates. Then, Ryota also joining in to be the bully.
Tsutomu and Diana giggled as they watched the band members joking around.

“It’s written…” When Diana started to tell what was written, Taka, Tomoya and Ryota stopped. Tsutomu also turned to Diana.

With a smile, Diana said, “It’s written ‘I love you, Toru’ there".

Tsutomu laughed and clapped his hands. “Just like in her Facebook comment!” he said finally.

The End.

#15 Story: The Facebook comment Part 1

On that very moment she saw the familiar face of her Facebook friend, she couldn't help but to blush quite furiously. Then she glanced at the guy who had stolen her breathe and heartbeat.

But as he turned his head, she quickly looked away. Not wanting him to know how long she had been waiting to see him, physically and not just inside the computer monitor.

         “Such a perfect view.”

Diana turned to Van, only getting to know that her friend most probably had flew herself to cloud nine. She turned around and saw a group of people not so far from where they’re standing. She gasped after recognizing some of the guys in that group. She understood now the very reason for Van’s daydreaming mode to be activated. If not for the receptionist who cleared her throat, Diana most probably would be flying to her very own cloud nine too.

Quickly, she turned back to the receptionist and had herself checking in to the resort with Van.

Tsutomu walked towards the group of four handsome guys then had a little chit chat with the guys. They were talking and laughing. Tsutomu turned and saw a familiar face from the reception desk. ‘I know that girl somewhere’, he thought. Seeing his friend in a state of puzzle, Ryota couldn’t help but to ask. He put his right hand to Tsutomu’s shoulder.

“What’s wrong, Tsutomu-san?” he asked. Shaking his head and then turned to Ryota, Tsutomu replied with a smile, “Oh, nothing. I saw someone that I felt like I’ve seen her somewhere.”

“Ehhh, Tsutomu-san! You’re married!” teased Taka, the shortest among the four. The rest laughed. “Don’t make us tell sister-in-law!” added Tomoya with his cute little laughter. The tallest, Toru covered his laughter with his hand and act cool as he usually is.

“I know. And I love my wife very much. Thank you for reminding. Haha.”

Tsutomu made a last glance towards to the two girls he saw at the reception desk. Then he remembered something. “Oh!” he exclaimed.

Toru, Taka, Tomoya and Ryota looked at him, a bit surprised. Tsutomu looked at them, smiling with satisfaction. “I remembered her,” he said. The four guys blinked in blurriness, not understanding what Tsutomu was talking about.

“See the two girls at the reception desk over there. The one with the black shirt looks familiar to me. Turned out, she’s my Facebook friend. I remembered she commented something like ‘I love you, babe’ to Toru’s photo in Facebook,” Tsutomu explained.

Upon hearing that, Toru blinked his drowsy eyes. Then, he turned to look at the girl pointed by Tsutomu. His fan, maybe?

“I think her friend is also my Facebook friend. Can’t remember though. But one thing for sure, she is ONE OK ROCK’s fan. Hehe,” Tsutomu added.

Ryota, Taka and Tomoya grinned. It’s good to know the fact that their band, ONE OK ROCK, has fans everywhere in the world. Not just Japan and the regions nearby.

Right after the hotel room was shut behind the bell boy’s back, the two girls turned to each other. Then, they smiled in unison.

            “Did you see them?”

“Yes, I did! But too bad I had deal with the impatient receptionist,” Diana replied as she took her seat, a little frustration raised in her for unable to see her favorite band longer.

Van took her seat next to Diana on the queen-sized bed. With a wide grin on her face, just like the Cheshire cat, she murmured, “Oh God. He is so perfect. That blond hair, that perfect height. Everything!” With excitement, she laid on the bed and reached for a pillow to hug.

“My goodness, you’re daydreaming about Toru, aren’t you?” asked Diana. She knew the obvious answer to that question.

Van turned to her while still hugging the soft pillow and sat up.

“How can you not daydream about such perfect guy?”

“I am not,” Diana replied. She stood up and start walking to the balcony. Such a nice weather and she could see the swimming pool area as well as the wide beach and sea from her position. Van walked and stood next to her.

“Of course you’re not daydream about Toru! But I am 100% sure that you’re daydreaming about Taka!” Van claimed. Diana couldn’t help but to laugh.

“I wish I could. But I can’t even see his face properly. The moment I turned after settling our check-in matters, they’re gone from the lobby.”

“You should have let me follow and stalk them. Then we would be able to know which room are they staying,” Van said. Diana looked at her and gave her the are-you-kidding-me face.

“We’ll be able to meet them eventually. If they are staying in this resort too. In the meantime, let’s go enjoy our holidays! It’s not every day that I get you to come to Sabah and stay in this beautiful resort,” said Diana calmly while walking back into the room.

“Stop trying to be cool. I know you’re still frustrated for unable to see Taka more.” Van followed her. She turned to her good friend and said, “Yes, Van. I am very frustrated. Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I can’t hide anything from you, can’t I?”

Van smiled. “Nope. Not if it’s related to ONE OK ROCK or fangirling.” Then, they both laughed.

#14 Silence

Whoa.. it's been awhile since I last update this blog. I am thankful that there are, in fact, people who visit and reads this crappy blog of mine.

Thank you!

Anyway, I'm currently active in Tumblr. I have managed to expand my knowledge in making gifs. LOL I should be reading journals of research instead but I don't know, the magnetic force of procrastination especially those related to ONE OK ROCK is too strong.

I'll post a story I wrote for my friend after this. A fiction story of OOR fan girls, that is. Hehe. Hope you'll enjoy it! :D
